Who we are
Jollof Rice Productions is an independent film and podcast production company founded by award winning broadcaster Ikenna Azuike in 2017. Our diverse network of creatives, journalists and producers have decades of storytelling experience across film, tv and podcasts, working with a variety of broadcasters including BBC, BNNVARA and VPRO.
What we do
We develop and produce compelling original formats for film and podcasts and provide storytelling consultancy services. Our specialism is in engaging young audiences on subjects set to define the 21st century, from climate change and democracy to inequality and polarisation.
Why we do it
After years of creating award-winning journalism with the BBC on What’s Up Africa, Ikenna founded Jollof Rice Productions with a simple ambition: to tell ambitious, original stories that reflect the full richness of the world we live in, and to help organisations tell theirs with the same honesty, creativity and humanity.
We believe the best stories don’t just inform or entertain. They build trust, shift perspectives and inspire people to act. If that’s the kind of story you want to tell, we’d love to hear from you.
